Very easy~~ But very useful!
I bought these mini fruits patterns last year. I really love them, so cute and sweet! But I didn’t know how to use them in the right way until I got several mini candy metal frames. Actually they are really very lovely like my babies. They are so beautiful in my eyes. Look at them~ LOL…

What am I doing these days? We are going to move to NYC for three mouths and am packaging. As you know, packaging is a trouble thing. :( I did some fabric storage boxes and some cute coin purses. And I still go on with my needles. I finished two surfaces of wallets. One is horse pattern, one is flowers.
Horse pattern: this pattern is designed by me but this horse is from Amy. I love it so much. So I decide to draw one for my red and blue pattern. Thanks so much for Amy’s horse. Love vintage color yarn dyed fabric, love the feeling of hand applique and hand quilting. So I collected them all in my wallets.
Flower pattern: Actually I appliqued three. One is red, one is purple and another is tea. But I only quilted red one.
I fall in love with mola from last year. I collected several books from Japan and learned some skills. I used mola method in the white part, joining the flower part with the red one. It is a small part, but it costed me so much time.
Look at the hand quilt details. I really love the performance of hand quilting much more than machine quilting’s.
Thanks for your visiting.
These boxes were made for Pat. She is preparing gifts for Mother’s Day. Here are for her sister. They are mothers and grandmothers now. She is a Vera fan. (I know she is a Disney fan too.) We collect these patterns for years. She just told me any pattern would be fine to her. So I chose these patterns my two of favorites: one is Heather, one is Lola. Hope she will love them.
As always, thanks for your trust for these days!
Here we go.
Size: 8″ x 6″ x 3″
I love acorns. I fall in love with this cute things at first sight! I grew up in South of China, I didn’t see these lovely gifts from the god in my hometown. I could never forget the amazing feeling when I saw acorns in the grass at first sight. That was 2 years ago in Cincinnati. I picked them up and then held them in my hands like a child holding her toys.
Fall is my favorite season. I love the tea color in the nature world. So I chose tea color yarn dyed fabric and the same tone bias tape. Here are them:
Front of the wallet:
Inner: credit card and multi-function pockets, full length billfold compartment, zip coin pocket
Zipper: zip-around closure (Wasting of time on this part, but being glad to finish it perfectly)
The back of the wallet:
